Ayurvedic Consultations

Gentle guidance towards balance, rooted in nature and ancient wisdom.

We are all made from the elements. It can be really empowering to remember that you are part of nature.

Ayurveda, an ancient healing system from India, invites us to notice the rhythms of our bodies and create balance from within, using the elements of nature.

Through 1:1 consultations with me we can explore your unique constitution (your dosha), uncover imbalances, and weave together a simple, supportive path towards healing.

I can support you to use natural medicine to prevent and treat illness, or create a more holistic lifestyle.

Ayurveda is never about restriction or a ‘one size fits all’ approach. We’ll assess you as a whole, creating a bespoke plan that works for you.

  • You feel disconnected from your body and crave a better sense of rhythm and routine.

  • You’re curious about natural medicine, but are confused about conflicting advice you’re getting.

  • You want to understand your digestion, energy, hormones, or emotions more deeply.

  • You’re looking for natural ways to heal your skin or hair, or improve your digestion.

Within my scope as an Ayurvedic Nutrition and Lifestyle Consultant I am able to support the following:

  • Digestive issues.

  • Stress and burn out.

  • Anxiety, worry, low-mood, low-energy, low-motivation.

  • Hair, nail, or skin problems.

  • Joint pain or stiffness.

  • Menstrual irregularities or pain.

  • Symptoms linked to ageing or menopause.

If you’re unsure whether your symptoms fall into this scope, please do reach out for a chat. If I believe that your symptoms need to be addressed by an Ayurvedic Doctor, I can refer you over.

This offering is for you if…

What to expect:

Each session is a gentle, spacious, open conversation that meets you where you’re at and honours your needs.

Everything we chat about will be kept confidential, with absolutely no judgement. This is a completely safe place to talk about any and all experiences you’d like to address.

How it works:

Initial Consultation - 75-90 mins

We’ll start with a deep dive into your health, symptoms, lifestyle, and history so I can assess your dosha and carve your path to healing. This is followed up with an in-depth report of your imbalances and the gentle first steps I’d recommend we take, including foods, herbal supplements, and lifestyle advice. Everyone needs to begin with one of these initial consultations.

Following this you may choose to continue with any of the following:

Follow-up Consultations - 45-60 mins

You have the option to meet with me as many times as you need. These are so we can check in, refine your routines and treatments, chat about any new symptoms, and deepen your journey of Ayurvedic healing. Book as and when you need me.

Monthly Whatsapp Support

This is a great option if you want to keep it a bit more low-key. You can message me when you have a question or need my input. This isn’t constant 24/7 communication, instead I aim to reply to your questions within 48 hours and can act as an accountability buddy / support system as you find your feet with your Ayurvedic journey.

Bespoke Recorded Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditations.

A fantastic option if these are the focus in your treatment plan, but you need something tailored to you - or that you can complete in your own time at home.

FAQs

  • Yes, payment plans are available for Initial Consultations. We can split your investment into two manageable instalments for you. I will just ask you to have settled this payment plan before booking your next consultation.

  • No, you don’t need to worry about that at all. My services are accessible to anyone and everyone, and you don’t need any experience in holistic practices. We’ll be putting simple and manageable changes into place that are tailored to your life, rather than overwhelming you with new concepts.

  • Our initial consultation will take up to 90 minutes. We will be talking about lots of things, and you only have to tell me what you’re comfortable with. However, the more you can share with me, the easier it is for me to understand your imbalances and create a plan for you. These sessions are relaxed, friendly, and a totally safe/confidential space. Expect me to ask you questions about your lifestyle, your diet and food habits, your relationships, your body type and any physical symptoms you’re experiencing, your mental health, your bowel movements and other bodily functions (nothing to be ashamed of here!), as well as your history of health.

  • You can absolutely work with me remotely, and you’ll receive just as high-quality treatment as anybody!

  • If you’re based in Shropshire then I recommend that we meet in person for our Initial Consultation. This is useful while we assess your current imbalances, and can be done at your house, or at my studio in Shrewsbury. However, follow up consultations can be held however you choose; zoom or phone call.

  • Absolutely. We will not interfere with any medications of medical treatments while working together. Holistic medicine is designed to work alongside modern medicine, and can hopefully also improve symptoms that are being managed by medication.

I will never advise you to stop taking prescribed medications, but will support you through this transition if it’s something you’ve decided on with your doctor.

  • Ayurveda and Yoga techniques can significantly improve your mental health, and we can work together to make a positive impact through lifestyle adjustments. However, I am not a trained therapist and this service is not a replacement for traditional therapy or medications. If I come to decide that you need further assistance beyond the coaching I may refer you to another service.

  • Whilst working with me on the Monthly Whatsapp Support service, you can get in touch with via text or voicenote whenever you need and I will get back to you as soon as possible within my working hours. Just note - I work in part-time employment so this can sometimes take up to 48 hours.

  • Implementing Ayurvedic advice and new routines does require some commitment, and you need to be willing to put time and energy into the work we do together if you want to make a difference. However, we can build practices and adjustments into your current routine slowly and sustainably to avoid overwhelm. If creating more time for yourself is a focus, then we will ensure this is a priority.

  • Yes, everything is completely tailored to the individual. Therefore your treatment is completely personal to you and your body, including any yoga or breathwork practices I suggest. If anything we talk about is beyond my scope, I will be clear about what I can help with and what I would prefer to refer you to someone else for.

  • 100%. This is incredibly important to me as a queer practitioner. This is safe, warm, and welcoming place to come.
